Natural AI

Natural is the product of Brain Technologies (Brain.AI), a startup financed by the Emerson Collective. We partnered with Brain to define a new interaction framework: natural language understanding on a GPT engine from OpenAI, and an interface that is generated in real time to fit what the person wants. More than 50 patents were filed worldwide.

The work runs from the first Natural app to Natural OS: the home screen with no app grid, search that ends in a completed booking, voice that keeps its place on the screen, a thinking mode that shows its reasoning, and Mind Space, where the agent's memory is laid out in plain view.

Natural won a Webby Award in 2022 for best voice application and a Red Dot Design Award the same year for its mobile interface. In 2026 Natural OS reached the public on the Natural AI Phone, launched by SoftBank in Japan.

Milkinside's founder, Gleb Kuznetsov, is Chief Design Officer at Brain.AI and leads the design of Natural OS.
